  Editor's Note (Toru Nakagawa, Jun. 5, 2020)

This page is composed of messages addressed to 3 ranges of people.

[1] 110 TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues all overthe world, to whom [WTSP] Letter (19GC-2) was sent on May 26.  The messge in the Letter was written just after I submitted our WTSP papers to ETRIA TFC 2020 and Japan TRIZ Symposium 2020, and reflects our eager desire for getting collaboation by them.

[2] Many more Leaders/Colleagues/Practitioners in LinkedIn, especially in its 'TRIZ and Innovation' Group.  Adding a short preface, I posted the Letter without change in LinkedIn on May 28.  The 'TRIZ and Innovation' Group has 14,000+ members, including many leaders, specialists, users in TRIZ and relevant methodologies.

[3] Many more ordinary practitioners, users, and learners in TRIZ-related methodologies (or 'TRIZ and Innovation').  Such people are expected to be the users/readers of World WTSP Catalogs.  Their support and help is crutial for enhancing our Catalogs.  Various ways of support/help are suggested.

[1]  Dear TRIZ Leaders and Colleagues:
Request for your contribution to World WTSP Catalogs

[WTSP] Letter (19GC-2) sent (on May 28) to 110 TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues
(including WTSP Global Co-editors, Country Editors, and possible Country Editors)

Dear TRIZ Leaders and Colleagues

May 28, 2020  Toru Nakagawa (OGU)
World TRIZ-related Sites Project (WTSP) Project Leader

Hello, how are you, your family, and people in your country?

I am sending this email to about 110 TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues in the world (including WTSP Global Co-editors, Country Editors, and possible Country Editors), for asking your voluntary cooperation for further proliferation of TRIZ and related methodologies.

The same contents are sent in 4 emails to the regions: A (Europe, 43), B (Russia, 12), CD (Mid-East and Asia, 32), EFGH (Oceania, N. America, C.& S. America, Africa, 25)

(1) We have built and publicized World WTSP Catalogs of TRIZ Sites and Around-TRIZ Sites (Oct. 2019 Edition).
See: www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/eWTSP/            [Mistake in URL is corrected (Jun. 3)]

They are much much better than any ordinary internet surveys, in the aspects of coverage/selection of sites, and the introductions of individual sites.

The project outputs, i.e. Catalogs, and the processes for building/updating them are made clear and well documented.

(2) However, we need to enhance the WTSP Catalogs much to get the evaluation and usage by many people in the world as attractive and useful information source for TRIZ and Around-TRIZ methodologies.  [See ]

We must meet 3 criteria from users' points of view.
(a) Coverage and good selection (= evaluation) of Attractive and Useful sites all over the world.
(b) Attractive and useful introduction of individual sites (for users).
(c) Easy access to the Catalogs and to the sites of some categories desired by the users.

(3) Since there are hundreds of good sites, each having hundreds of articles, in the world, the tasks to meet (a)(b)(c) are really big.

However, the tasks are dividable into smaller ones, because every good site is edited and operated individually by some site owner.

Such site owners can work individually and in parallel, following the WTSP examples and guidelines which are established already.

Evidently, we need help and collaboration by many people, i.e., all the owners of good sites in the world and some more people who coordinate the people and their tasks.

(4) All of YOU are TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues in various countries and in various specialties.

We suppose YOU are site owners or are involved in some good TRIZ-related sites, which you are proud of.

So please (b) write an introduction of YOUR OWN SITE(s) and (a) contribute it to the WTSP Catalogs, (c) with proper instruction of site categorization.

Since YOU are TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues influential in your country (or globally) and in your specialty, please serve as (one of) Coordinators.

Dividing the tasks is simple and semi-automatic in our case, but coordinating the individual tasks and several (or several tens of) people can be done only under good leadership by some leaders/colleagues like YOU in each community.
Getting Coordinators is the crucial issue for our WTSP project. Please communicate with various leaders/colleagues in your country (or specialty) and form a WTSP Team.

(5) We know you are extremely busy in your business and many more official duties.
Please find slots of time for introducing your own site and for encouraging/coordinating your leaders/colleagues to enhance the World WTSP Catalogs.

Please be confident that we all, TRIZ community in the world, can make the World WTSP Catalogs really attractive and useful for users.  And that your own sites, together with others, are referred and used much by users and that the TRIZ and relevant methodologies get more familiar and used by many people in the world.

(6) Let us be practical.

 (b) Please write an introduction of your site
in the WTSP Standard format (.docx, attached ): for sites
and also in a free format (about 2-5 pages): for Z sites.

(a) Please list up recommended sites (in your country/specialty):
in the WTSP template (.xlsx, attached ): for sites.

Note: F Most important in the World (about top 30)
:  Important in the World (about top 100)
F Worthy in the World WTSP Catalogs
F Worthy in the Country WTSP Catalogs

Our focus at moment is on sites.
But we are going to include at least one site in every country.

Please send these manuscripts to TRIZ leaders/colleagues in your country/specialty (listed or not in this email address) and also to the Project Leader (Toru Nakagawa).

These manuscripts will be accepted at any time and posted in the WTSP Site as soon as possible.

The ones received by June 20, 2020 will be integrated in the Jun. 2020 Edition of the WTSP Catalogs.

Let's work Together ! Connected !!

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes, Toru

Dear TRIZ Leaders and Colleagues all over the world, Please contribute to World WTSP Catalogs for making them more attractive and useful for users

 Toru Nakagawa, May 29, 2020

I have sent the following email last night to about 110 TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues in the world for asking their voluntary cooperation for further proliferation of TRIZ and related methodologies.

I am posting it here, in order to ask YOU, all the readers in this LinkedIn group, for your understanding/supporting/contribution to the WTSP Project.

Please contribute to World WTSP Catalogs for making them more attractive and useful for users.

We have already built the First Edition (Oct. 2019) of the World WTSP Catalogs of TRIZ Sites and Around-TRIZ Sites.
We need to enhance them much, and hence we wish you, TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues all over the world, to cooperate and contribute your manuscripts.

For this purpose I posted an article today in https://lnkd.in/gZt7-MD

Dear TRIZ Leaders and Colleagues all over the world,
Please contribute to World WTSP Catalogs for making them more attractive and useful for users
                                               Toru Nakagawa, May 29, 2020

We must meet 3 criteria from users' points of view.
    (a) Coverage and good selection (= evaluation) of Attractive and Useful sites all over the world.
    (b) Attractive and useful introduction of individual sites.
    (c) Easy access to the Catalogs and to the sites of some categories desired by the users.

We are asking all the TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues to cooperate in listing up good sites in their countries and to have the site owners written their site introductions. For achieving these tasks we need many voluntary members and coordinators in every country.

We, together with YOU all, will certainly realize the big vision of useful World WTSP Catalogs by our voluntary cooperation.

Let's work Together ! Connected !!

   [3]  Dear Users and Readers in TRIZ-related methodologies;
Please Help to Make the World WTSP Catalogs More Attractive and Useful for YOU

Jun. 5, 2020      Toru Nakagawa (Osaka Gakuin Univ.)
World TRIZ-related Sited Project (WTSP) Project Leader

I have reported (on Apr. 6) that we have built the World WTSP Catalogs (Oct. 2019 Edition), and showed its strengths and weaknesses.  And (on May 28) I have sent email messages to TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues asking their contributions of manuscripts to enhance the World WTSP Catalogs.

We want to enhance the present World WTSP Catalog to meet the follwoing 3 Requirements:

    (a) Coverage and good selection (= evaluation) of Attractive and Useful sites all over the world.
    (b) Attractive and useful introduction of individual sites.
    (c) Easy access to the Catalogs and to the sites of some categories desired by the users.

These tasks are expected to be carried out primarily by TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues.  They are expected to work as Site Owners of individual sites, Catalog Editors and Coordinators in countries, etc.

Then, ordinary Users/Readers of TRIZ have nothing to do except waiting?  -- Yes, You can play a big role by giving support and help!

(1) Please communicate with TRIZ Leaders/Promoters/Site owners in your country to support/help/encourage them.  Showing your support, simply by emails and phone calls, would encourage them much.

(2) Please list up your favorite/recommending Web sites (in your country or globally) in the WTSP Template  and send it to TRIZ Leaders/Site owners (in your country or some relevant keypersons).

(3) If possible, please try inernet surveys for TRIZ sites in your country and list them up in the WTSP Templetes, and send the list to TRIZ Leaders/Site owners.

(4) Please write your note of appreciation of some individual sites in your country and send it to the Site owners and relevant TRIZ Leaders in your country. Ask them to write a full introduction of such sites.

(5) Since active TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues are often extremely busy, ordinary TRIZ Users can support and help them in various activities of enhancing WTSP Catalogs in practice.   Especially, reviewing the Catalogs and commenting to improve them from users views are important.

(6) If you are a TRIZ Expert/Practitioner/Researcher at a certain level, please join and work in the Country WTSP Team to coordinate various activities for enhancing the WTSP Catalogs.

(7) In some cases, TRIZ Leaders/Colleagues are competing in TRIZ business and not easy to become/ assign as the Country Editor/Coordinator.   In such a case, TRIZ User(s)/Researcher(s) may play the role of Coordinator(s)

Your support and help is crutial for making the WTSP Catalogs really useful.

Let's work Together ! Connected !!

Best wishes,  Toru
